Prayers Needed

I've never been one to share lots of chain emails, start them, or really think about the "prayer" emails that come my way. Today has changed all of that. Today a beautiful blonde 4 year old girl named Ella was diagonosed with a cancerous brain tumor on the stem of her brain. Her brother was in Taylor's class last year, and we have been carpooling for a couple of years with this family. They live in my moms neighborhood and are just the nicest family. I thought i'd blog about it today, ask everyone to take a minute of thier time and say a prayer for Ella. They can not operate, and are going to try chemo. I had to have a conversation with my girls this afternoon on the way home from school, as Morgan asked what a "brain tube" was, today at school they gathered all the classes and said a prayer for Ella. I just can't imagine what the parents are going thru, please pray for their strength to continue, and for her older brother, Jack, to understand too. Jack will make his first communion this Saturday.

Happy Anniversary!

Today we celebrate 12 years married! I decided to post an older picture (last year) but one with all of us in it. I don't have a recent picture of just us, this picture was taken in Florida at a bird sancuary, it was alot of fun! Today we also celebrate with our girls, quietly at home, dinner at a restaurant of thier choice. Here's to many more happy years!!

New Grill

Phil got a new grill, a gas grill. We have always loved charcoal grills, we still own ours, but now with the pool, entertaining more and lack of time so it seems, we broke down and bought a new jen air gas grill. Heres to a summer of fun, fellowship, and great food!!

Spring!

Grilling season is upon us! Phil got a new Jen-Air grill for pool side adventures! We opened the pool house, scrubbed off the deck, and got out the lounge chairs. Weatherman says it will be 80 by this weekend! Our first outdoor grilling and eating was this weekend, salmon and aspargus, the girls ate in their bathing suits, begging us to heat the pool. We are going to wait to make sure our cold nights are over then it's pool season!!
